Cold Snap - Good News / Bad News

The good news is that I collected over 50 gallons of sap last weekend. The bad news is that it has been so cold that everthing is frozen. The good news is that the sap will be preserved until I am ready to boil, which based up the forecast, might be this weekend. Last year we didn't thaw out until mid-March.
