Maple Season 2016 - The Trees are Tapped

The calendar and temperature confirmed that it was time to tap. The temperature is dropping below freezing during the night and above during the day, which is the right condition for good sap flow. (How Maple Syrup is Made).
With a busy weekend schedule, I tapped 15 trees without much ceremony, accompanied by my trusty dog Coco. It's supposed to warm up nicely today and there are already a few drips starting. And away we go!
